| Mandatory Re-Enrollment |

Mandatory Re-Enrollment Required by June 30th
Instructions will be sent out week of June 10th via email All students in the Menlo Park City School District (MPCSD) must Re-Enroll for 2013-2014 by June 30, 2013. Our schools are severely impacted by increased enrollment, and so we are requiring parents to confirm their spot for the coming school year, as well as verify data on file, and receipt of required annual legal notices and agreements. The District will contact all families during the week of June 10 with instructions for mandatory online Re-Enrollment for every student who will be attending grades Kindergarten through 8 this fall. If you are not planning to return to the District in the fall, please contact the Encinal office immediately at 650-326-5164. Even families that recently registered children for Kindergarten will have to complete the online Re-Enrollment. The District will again be using Infosnap to electronically Re-Enroll students. The District will send Re-Enrollment information by email to all families with an email address in the MPCSD database. If there is no email address on record for your family, Re-Enrollment instructions will be sent by postal mail. If Internet access is an issue, a computer will be available at the Registrar's office. Please note that the databases used for PTO and District newsletters are not the same as the MPCSD Registration database. So getting the PTO newsletter does not mean your email is on the Registrar's mailing list. If you have changed your email address in the past year, or if you would like to make sure the correct email address is in the MPCSD Registration database, please email registrar@mpcsd.org and include your name, your child(ren)'s name, school and grade. | Encinal Garden Work Days + Ice Cream |
 Sunday, June 9th & June 23rd, 3-5pmCome help prepare and plant the garden for next Fall's Native American themed Harvest Festival. We will be clearing beds and planting three-sisters crops. No gardening experience needed. Bring a water bottle, hat and gloves if you've got them (or we have some, too). After the work is done, we'll enjoy some ice cream treats together! Please join us on either of the following days:
Sunday, June 9th, from 3-5pm Sunday, June 23rd, from 3-5pm Want to help but can't make those dates? We also need help over the summer to keep weeds down, water seedlings, etc. If you can help over the summer, even once, send an email to garden@encinalschool.com.

| Kinder Playgroup |
 A small group of parents for 2013-2014 kindergarten students at Encinal are organizing summer get-togethers. These casual, informal play groups will help families and students get to know one another in advance of starting school.
Anyone interested in participating can let the organizers know by joining their Google Group (you can set up a Google account if you don't have one).
